First of all, Merry Christmas to you guys! I hope you all had a wonderful day and that you were surrounded with your loved ones.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know that I spent Christmas in my favourite city in France, Bordeaux! I went to visit my family there for a week. I've always loved this place, I've never actually lived there but I used to go there at least twice a year as a child and stay for a few weeks each time, so Bordeaux really feels like home now.

I particularly love this time of the year in Bordeaux, with all the Christmas lights and decoration in the city... It's so pretty. Where did you spend Christmas this year?

And now, I can finally wish you a...

Happy New Year!

2016 flew by so quickly, it's unbelievable. 2016 wasn't perfect in any way but it was honestly one of the best years of my life. 2016 is the year I started this blog - I thought I wouldn't last long and eventually run out of ideas but here I am, wishing you a happy new year 7 months later. Having and maintaining a blog (as well as all the social media platforms) isn't easy and I learned that this year too. It's so much work, way more than people realise, but it's so rewarding and I love having my little creative space here on the internet.

2016 is also the year I left France for a month to live in Spain. I've always really liked Spain and the Spanish language, but ever since I lived there I've been OBSESSED with the country and its people.

2016 is the year I finally went on my first ever solo trip. I was a little nervous to be on my own at first but everything went fine and I can't wait to do it again!

2017, I'm so ready for you.

2016 was great, but I'm sure 2017 can be even better. (I believe in you 2017, please be kind to us all!)

This year, I'm going to graduate with a Bachelor degree. Those three years of hard work will finally pay off. I really want to do a Master's degree but I don't know yet if I'll start it right after graduating or if I'll take a gap year and travel... I think I could do with a year off on the road! If any of you guys took a year off, I'd love some advice from you.

Speaking of travelling, I have some very exciting things planned. One of them being that I'm going to leave France again for a few months, not for Spain this time... But for another country that I'm going to keep a secret for now! I'll live there for a while and it's very, very, very exciting and I absolutely can't wait.

What are your goals for 2017? Do you have any trips planned already?
