I made these amazing zucchini tuna fritters/patties the other day and there were so good and super easy to make that I wanted to share it with you on the blog!

I ate them with some salad on the side but I was thinking these would be amazing as burger patties too. This recipe makes 3 fritters but to be honest I was already full by the second one haha! If you want to make more just double the amount of ingredients. You can be really creative and add more spices of your liking, or even more veggies like diced tomatoes and grated carrots if you feel like it. For this recipe I usually use a little bit of oat flour (I blend oats in a blender to make it!) but when I'm feeling lazy or in a rush I use regular flour and it tastes just as good.

This recipe makes 3 fritters 😋 you will need: 
  • 1/2 zucchini 
  • 25g of flour (any type of flour, I usually use regular or oat flour)
  • 80g of canned tuna, drained
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 onion, diced (optional)
  • Grated cheese (optional)
  • Salt, pepper


1. Grate your zucchini and press the moisture out with some paper towel

2. Put the grated zucchini into a mixing bowling and add in the egg, tuna, flour, onions, salt, pepper and other spices if you'd like. Sometimes I also add in some grated cheese!

3. Put some olive oil in a pan, create fritters with either two spoons or your hands and place them into the pan on medium heat

4. Cook each side for 4 minutes

And voilà!
